About this site
You are on Programmers Club of PetrSU website. Our club conducts trainings and programming contests for students and schoolguys. Also we conduct Petrozavodsk training camps, which are somewhat known.
What can you do here:
- You can solve some problems. There are several ways to do so, we will note them later.
- You can participate in some competitions on our site. They are conducted from time to time, so please look for announcements.
- You can post something to forum or create a blog for yourself.
For most of these things you will need to register on our site. To do so you should enable javascript in your browser and press registration link in top-right corner (or just go to registration page). You will be asked for your login and password as well as your e-mail address. This e-mail should be working, because you will receive letter for account activation there. If you encounter any problems with registration (or with the site itself), please mail to webmaster@acm.petrsu.ru.
After registration you should log in (link for that is in the top-right corner). You will be able to change some settings and view your profile. In your profile page you can see your most recent submissions and create your blog.
If you want to solve some problems, you should register for a contest first. There are three types of contests which we currently have:
- Competitions - these are time-bounded contests, which are conducted from time to time. Look for announcements.
- Virtual contests - these are contests, which emulate your participation in some contest which was conducted some time ago. You can start your virtual participation at any time. We have some contests opened for virtual participation and plan to add more contests, especially from Petrozavodsk training camps.
- Problemset archives - these are collections of different problems. They are not limited in time.
When you have registered for a contest, you can log into testing system. The testing system uses the same credentials as the site itself, so if you are logged into site, you will be also logged into testing system automatically. More about testing system interface you can read here.
Also our site has a problemset archive, which includes all problems opened for public domain. If you have participated in some contest (virtual for example), your submissions will be added to the problemset in five minutes.
And we have a game problems archive. It includes all game problems (these are specific kind of problems, where you are to play some game with an opponent). Your submissions from different game contests are added here.
